On November 4, 2012, the University Library established the Campus Branch to provide library services to students, employees and associates of the University of Rijeka who did not have a library until moving to the Campus: Academy of Applied Arts, Faculty of Teacher Education, University Departments of Matematics, Physics, Informatics and Biotechnology and studies in Speech Therapy and Polytechnics. The Campus branch is located in the University Departments building in Trsat.
